Digital Photography
Ladies and Gentleman! What i have here is a page full of life, color, ambition and creativity. When i was a student in high school i was introduced to this somewhat new concept of web design, digital photograpy and graphic art. I spent the last two years of my high school life working on an associates program in web design. There were only two of us out of the 30 who finished the program and became certified. I studied graphic design and art for a year and a half. I became one of the webmasters for my high school. Well after that i decided i couldn’t do it as a profession so i switched gears to engineering. Now i do graphics and photo editing as a hobby.
As you can see, i have created some very impressive images. Every one of those images i have either completely re-done or created my self. Some of them i have spent hours and hours on just getting it right. I will post the pictures separately and explain the process i followed to capture the beauty of photoshop.
First things first. These are all my own work so please be kind and respect the hard work. One of the first images i ever completely retouched was a 911 twin turbo Porsche. Yes i know what a twin turbo system is. I happen to know quite abit about cars. I found this pic and i saw that it had some potentual to become something better. I loved the silver color it already as but i wanted to give it a makeover and do some body work on the beast. i started with the silver car. I used a special tool called the line tool o select a path around the body of the car. after it was selected, i created a new layer and used the bucket tool to “dump” gold paint onto the car. I switched the blending mode from normal to overlay. After the overlay, i used the dream effect to make it more soft and clean.

These next set of images happen to be my favorite. I spent most of the time on them because i wanted them to look professional. One of my good friends, Rachel, gave me some of her photos. I really loved how good she looked in these photos and i saw an opportunity to have some fun with them. I received many other photos from others that i had the chance to edit and create some good lookin pics. The first set is of Rachel and her lil nephew Jackson.I added a tattoo of a butterfly on her check. I thought it looked good. Creative and cute at the same time. Yes i said cute.

The next one is of hr and her newest lil nephew Kellan. He was a week old i think when this pic was taken. i could be mistaken but i think thats when it was. The only effect on this photo was eye color change. She originally has darker eyes, pretty non the less, and i wanted to see what they would look like green.
I tried to keep it close to what the original looks like. To accomplish this, i only used effects that would change her environment rather than effects that change her. I dont do that all the time. Sometimes i totally change one persons eye, hair, lips or even skin color. i find it very interesting to see what people look like with different features.
Switching gears a we bit. Here are some that i have actually changed ALOT on. Hair color to lip color and even some skin tones were completely revamped. I will display the original first so you can see the contrast between the two. The first two photos of the girl ended up being my friends friend. So i nabbed the pictures and went to town on them. I am referring to the next two pics of the girl with the hat

Here is my version of it. I do like the original but i think i like mine more. No matter what she is still very pretty girl.

Ok this next picture is awesome. It is of the same girl above but just a different shot and style. I take it that she is sitting on a chair or a stool by the way she is leaning over and facing. I did not take this photo. I merely edited it with my own style and characteristics. I will post the original and my style so you can capture the differences between the two.

i really like the blue eyes in that photo. i guess its kinda cool how i can take a plain black and white photo and bring it to life with two simple colors. Speaking of adding color to photos. Here is one of my favorites. I spent some time on this next shot. I changed so much on this picture its ridiculous. It just seemed that at the time i knew what the picture needed and wanted to become a better photo. Behold, the photo that took a life time to build and seconds to post it.

Hair color was changed and so was skin tones along with eyes and lips. Like i said, i spent some time on this.
The next one i think is my favorite. It is of my friend Meghan. She gave me this picture and then i added my touches to it and sent it back to her. She loved it! As do i. This was actually my first editing project for my portfolio. Everything is original color BUT i enhanced it and brought out the color. Her eyes are really that blue. im dead serious. All i changed was the color contrast on certain realms of color. So with out any further adue(if i knew how to spell that), here she is in all of her glory!

Dont worry, not all my pictures are women. But most of them are. If i am going to spend time on photography then i might as well spend it on a subject i prefer and love. I mean c’mon im a guy. So just to please the opposite sex i will post some different pictures. No they will not be pics of guys… C’mon what are ya thinkin?
Sometimes i wonder why i do what i do. I find it a very interesting what goes threw my head at times. I saw thise picture on the net and i saved it. It was a picture of someones eye. i thought that maybe latter on i would try some special effects on it and maybe toy with eye color. Well, i went over board. The new picture doesnt even look like the old one. Take look for your self.

As you can see. there is a BIG difference. I have plenty more where this came from. About half of my reputa`re is special effects. See i told you not all of my photos were of girls.. Speakin of that, the next photos will be of more girls. HAHA, I just seem to deal with more people than i do with objects.
I asked the owner of this picture if i could use her original one and create my own version of it. She agreed and handed me a copy of the picture. I spent some time on it and signed my own signature on it. I gave the picture back and she really liked it.

These next shots are of some random girl i found on google and even though her original photo is absolutely amazing, i decided to add my own touches to it. Enjoy
